I made my “portable” 8′x3′ craps table from a 6×3 folding table. All the walls, plates and even the round corners are made of 1/2″ thick foamcore (amazingly tough and light!). The miror was a pain in the neck, but I finally found 1/8″ acrylic mirror that is safe, almost unbreakable, and most important, easily cutable!

Here in Canada, the average price for a 48″x12″ is 30$ for a full length mirror. I only had to cut it to fit the size I needed.

Even if the acrylic is more easily scratchable, if it is placed vertically almost no contact with the dice occur during a game!

Great job putting that table together. Let me get right down to it, I have a tub layout,the wood and the tools,just need the plans. How about i throw you a few bucks or make you some chip rails in trade of those plans. Get back at me, looking to deal.

I’ll be very interested in seeing how you make the chiprails, too. I’m not entirely satisfied with how the rails turned out on my table.
