My crappy Road Runner service gives me 60kbps upload and 900+kbps download speeds. If I am torrenting and uploading at 40kbps no one can understand me because my outbound bandwidth is ate up. If I reduce my torrent uploads to 25kbps people on the other end can hear me fine. So Magic Jack needs at least 35kbps of outbound bandwidth to work properly... Right now, I'm setting up a WinXP box for Magic Jack and I'm going to have it replace my Comcast phone service starting next month.
